Basically it dosent work,it will from the key though
hubby has had the unit out from the back,and that all looks fine,he has sucked and blowed on the pipes and they pop up relatively easily,he has stripped all the plastic trim back to double check for leaks or crimping in the pipes,but nothing found

What the hell could it be if it isnt any of that?? Please help x

What year is your car? Can you be a little more specific about what you are doing? i.e. When we try pushing the button on the key fob, it does nothing. If this is the case, have you tried reprogramming the key fob? When you say it works with the key in the door, do you hear the pump working when you try to unlock or lock or just the plunger on the door you see go up? When you are in the car and push the unlock or lock button do you hear the pump working and it unlocks/locks the doors?

Its a 97 reg you can hear the pump in the back working when we use the key,and we even hear the pump go off when we take the key out of the ignition
the door wont lock from the door button on the inside,we have tried to get the key re synced,but the mechanic said its saying the codes been accepted but still dosent work 😢

Sounds like the pump is running, but not working. There is a disk inside of the pump that comes apart, you might open up the pump and check that.
