Default Possible bad turbo maybe? With video

Well how loud should spool be? How can you detect a boost leak vs spool. Does this sound normal? I'm running a cone filter and removed the rear muffler. My father is thinking I have a major leak but let's say 5th gear 40 mph and foot too the floor it builds 10psi and doesn't sound too loud but if you let it climb through the Rev range it sounds alot louder like in the video a high whistle. I had just cleaned the intake tubing and such because it was really grimy. And due to the fact some one let it get that bad I think the exhaust pipe is covered in soot and it has a little bit of black gas smelling smoke like just a little bit no engine codes yet

Thoughts? And thanks for stopping to look!

Is it smoking? Is there any play in the shaft of the turbo? Video doesn't sound conclusive to me..

I didn't check the shafts for play like a noobie but yes it does smoke but I think it's because of all the carbon and black soot I actually think it's a dust and not smoke but not sure it's real real faint

oil smoke would be a gray cloud.. there would also be lots of oil in the intake side as well.

Checking for excess play would be a good idea.
