Default ** GruvenParts Developing Billet Intake Link for S4 B6/B7 - We Need Your Help !

We are in process of developing a billet intake linkage arm to replace the factory plastic link on the B6/B7 S4 with intake actuator P/N 079-198-327 (079198327) and 079-907-327A (079907327A).

This commonly fails on the 4.2L V8 engines.

I need to know a few things here -

1. How many of you are breaking this part ? Its long, and goofy, and seems quite brittle. Ive had a few people ask about this so we bought 1 and are in process of making a metal version.

2. Where is yours breaking ? Can you show pics of broken versions ? Im guessing right where the socket begins, at the end.

Thanks for your input here as we develop new parts for this platform !

As always, feel free to email or call me to discuss this offline if you prefer.
