Default 034 Hi Flow Cat and s2 o2 sensor issue

Anyone have this problem too? After installing the new cat I went to install the new o2 sensor and found this problem.

I have an 04 1.8t Quattro and it fit just fine, must not be designed for FWD's.

Mine had CEL issues till I got the tune that ignores them, so get one of these spacers, which might get you around reflashing your ECU.

They got in touch with me and sent out the Banjo style spacer. It fits and works now but I got the 420 code within a few hours. No CEL yet but the scanner shows the code. Where do I get the tune?

Thanks!

United Motorsport offers an 02 delete tune as well as APR.

I already had the APR 1+ tune, so I got upgraded to the 2+ tune for the high flow and to remove the CEL. 60k miles latter and no issues yet.

Side note, just tried the 100 octane file for the first time with some 101 octane ($11 a gallon) holy crap does it wake up this engine! I wish I could afford to run it like this all the time.

A follow up for the interested, the p1114 and p0420 code kept coming back after the banjo spacer within 50 miles every time. I finally yanked the spacer and opened up the 2 small holes inside with a 5/32 bit and so far 257 miles into it, no CEL or codes.

Can't hurt. How many miles are on the car? Check the CAT while you're at it as it may be clogged too. BTW, over 2k miles without a CEL.
