Default B6 or B7??

Greetings all...
I just got an '05 A4, 3.0 V6 Quattro in January. Looking at the forum listings here, I'm trying to decipher whether mine is a B6 or B7.

What are the indicators that tell me which one it is?

I was checking my oil this morning & noticed that my dipstick had a pretty nasty bend in it (only small fibrous threads keeping it together. Outer shell completely cracked).
Being afraid the lower half might end up in my engine, I busted the lower half off & decided to order a new one when I got to work.

Searching around I'm finding 2 different part #'s & they are 2 different lengths.
06B115611R and 06C115611K

Both claim to be for an 05 A4 V6 Quattro.

I would measure the 2 pieces, but I left the lower half on my back porch.

Any info would be appreciated!

Mo

Thank you!! I couldn't check it until today, but that is the same part # stamped on the handle of mine.

That part # is exactly what was stamped on my (broken) dipstick

I couldn't check it until today because I get home from work around 11 pm & just waited until I got up to see if your linked part matched mine.

Got it ordered already. Thanks for the info!

I often check prices at VW when you know the part number. I have 2 Audi's and 2 VW's in the family, a lot of parts are the same numbers. I have even had VW parts dept get me the part from Audi parts dept and it was cheaper. I assume it's just the different dealers have a different standard mark up for cash sales.

My local Audi spare parts dept is a lot nicer to wait for your parts, but I don't want to pay for the privilege.
