B7 Shocks on B6 Question?
2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro (Tiptronic)
Now i know the B7 and B6 Shocks are interchangeable, but i just bought a shock set from a 2006 S-Line Quattro and it came with the springs. I know the 2.0 Engine is a bit heavier, should i throw on the Springs from the 2006? or stay with the ones from my 2003 Sport Suspension?
my car has 144k and these came off of 2006 with roughly about 32k?
Im looking to run my car into the 200s! lol
any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Docs I looked at showed same weight but even with lighter suspension etc on the B7 that doesn't sound totally right. Variation might be a max 150 lbs or around 5%. Unless you are tracking I'm not sure you'd notice any variation in handling or life expectancy.

Thanks man, i actually ended up just buying some Bilstein Sports Brand New for the same price. I figured with the 2 year mfg warranty, it was a better buy.
Im a little worried as everything ive read says they are stiffer then OEM, and since I'm going with the same sport springs, i just hope they aren't unbearable. I like to have somewhat of a smooth ride as this is just a daily driver. Any inputs on whether to get a diff spring setup to avoid this or if I'm good with the Stock OEM sport springs?
