Hey guys,

Im preparing for doing a timing belt on my 2003 3.0L. I dont have access to tool rentals for the cam holder. What i do have is the resources to build one. I have a 3d printer and this wouldnt be the first time i have used it to build a tool.

What i am asking for is the measurement of the opening of the tool circled in red in the attached image below. If you could include a rough estimate of the angle that the opening is with respect to the horizontal plane between the opening for both cam shafts, that would be a big help as well.

I have looked over all the resources here for how to do it and feel comfortable with the process but would not mind having this part handy. I understand i will need 2 of them. Are the 2 identical?

Just FYI to all interested. I ordered the kit on ebay. Found a great deal on it and it was the complete kit.
