Help buying an A4
Howdie?
Looking for opinion on buying an 03 Audi A4 that has the 3.0 engine with 103K miles quattro.
What should I look for? Any high cost maintenance that needs to be done around this mileage? Car looks nice and clean and is private sale. Asking $6,500

The valve gaskets tend to leak oil at this age. They are easy to see. When you look at the engine a leaking valve gasket will present as oil on the gasket cover and screw holes.
You should also check rubber parts on suspension and listen to the vehicle with the fan off (or very low) while driving it.
