Please help my audi a4 died and won't turn over
Hey I'm new to audi's and just yesterday I was driving in my neighborhood to pick up my bro from school and my car lost power. I pulled over and it died. I tried starting it and it idled for a second and shut off I checked plugs and coils and nothing happened I'm thinking its the fuel pump or filter but I'm not sure any suggestions?

Did you notice any alarms on the display before it died?
Can you get the codes scanned?
Without either you can really just do the simple checks to make sure all the plugs are tight and check all the fuses have not blown.
If you start pulling things off, remember items like the throttle body actuator (TBA) need to be reprogrammed if they are unplugged or loose power (blown fuse etc).
I recently had the exact same symptom on a 2 litre FSI engine. It was running fine and just would not start the next day. It would crank but just not fire up. After going through the regular checks I then pulled out the throttle body looking for a 'common' problem, everything was cleaned out, but still no start (and no codes!). In desperation I changed the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor but forgot to recalibrate the TBA after cleaning it. After doing the recalibration using the VCDS everything works fine again. So I don't know if either sensor was the culprit or if I had just run the recalibration on the throttle body after cleaning may have been all that was needed.
