Eliminate performance-draining weight:

1. Start with the seats (maybe leave the driver's seat). That's gotta be a hundred lbs right there.
2. Throw out the glove box (20 lbs). It'll break anyhow.
3. Never have more than 5 gallons of gas in the tank (10 gal *6 lbs/gal=60 lbs).
4. Get rid of the spare, the tool kit, and the trunk liner (30 lbs)
5. Go to Wal-Mart and get the cheapest, smallest battery they sell. (10 lbs)
6. Keep the oil right at the 1qt low level (2 lbs)
7. Get rid of those heavy alloy wheels and go with 15" steelies. You should probably drive only in certain neighborhoods in LA after that.
8.Rip out the sunroof. That glass is H-E-A-V-Y. Put some poly over the hole.

Do that, and you'll be fast, fast, fast. Hold on to your seat (the only seat)

BTW a 2007 would be a B7 model A4

In reality though, spend around $500-600 and get a Stage 1 chip tune from one of the main tuners - Revo/APR/JHM/Unitronic/GIAC. Best bang for buck around - you will notice the difference.
