Long term member/lurker but don't post much, however I need some help.

I recently purchased a 2008 A4 Avant S-Line for the wife, and buying it out of the beautiful province of Quebec, it only came with French manuals. While I do speak French and all, reading an owners manual and making sense of a few things is proving a bit more difficult than asking for a beer. So....

1. does anyone have a used manual bundle (all of them) for this generation Avant. I would obviously be extremely interested in the 2008 variety. An on-line version would also do.

2. for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the satellite radio working. Given it's an S-Line and has everything in it, it should have Sat as well? (I think). It has the shark fin, the "Sat" button, yet I am getting nothing. Once again I am sure if I had English manuals I may be in a better position to figure it out.

All b7s have them, but you need to subscribe.

Check online, parts dealers etc. for used manuals.

Based on the research I have been doing since I posted this, I may be in need of a tuner. Sounds like many A4's did not actually come with one. Will know more when I pull the rear lining out tomorrow.

It would be just as easier to call up your local dealer and give them your vin number.

Do they all have the tuner installed though? Not sure about that.

Call up the dealer, they'll have four different sat receivers that will go with an a4 depending on the sound system. To check to see if you actually have one, which I doubt, it'll be in the first aid/cd changer compartment in your trunk. It will be behind the rectangular hatch with two pry tabs. Most likely the wires will be harnessed and need to be untied. You may have to do some connecting of canbus wires in the passenger foot well. It's not supposed to be hard, but I've never done it. There should be DIY on the Internet. Good luck

So no tuner was found but did find the wire bundle. Now need to find out what kind of tuner I need to source. There are two (I presume) antennae wires - one blue and one green, and two black multi-wire connectors. Any insight?

I have a 2008 S-Line A4 Avant - have every option except navigation. Sirius satellite was part of the Audio option package and included Bose premium audio. 3 months free subscription was included when new and then it was paid subscription (I haven't bothered subscribing)
