Brake Calipers
I know this sounds dumb, but I was wanting to spray paint the brake calipers and I was wondering if all the work is worth it and if there's anything to be worried about.

The work is worth it if you find the end result satisfactory. Personally, I would wait until you have to do some brake work, like a rotor replacement, or a brake system flush. Then it will simply be part of the job. You're probably going to want to thoroughly clean the caliper, so removing the brake line would be important. Be sure that both ends of the brake line are sealed off from any possible contamination before doing anything else. Even a dead insect could cause problems. Make sure to use a paint specifically formulated for high heat applications. I'm pretty sure I've seen paint specifically made for this type of job.
