Does nau one know what it is . my dealer wants 1500 To replace the steering control module saying there is no communications . Is that a correct fix for this ?

What were the accompanying symptoms - the reason you went to the dealer?

I've received G85 false reading plenty of times after disconnecting the battery, this happens most of the time.

The frequency of 00466 makes me curious. Are the accessory buttons on your wheel working at all? If not it would be the logical deduction to replace it, Audi usually won't try to recode anything and they're usually correct on module replacement.

Thanks for the Insight. went to audi as my steering wheel audio controls dont work and want to see what it is. they gave me a 1500 $ Estimate to fix it. he said the part it self is about 800$ 500 for the control Module and 300 for the angle sensor and labor of about 700 $ . i could find the parts for about 500 $ online not may be can see if my mechanic can replace them. only thing isis it worth that much just to get back my audio control. but my thing is that all other things like the horn, indicators every thing work just hte audio control does not work.
