Suspension help needed
Hi guys, first off thanks for any help provided.
My wife has a 2007 A4 FWD model. And since it's been cold(winter) there has been a lot of creaking in the front end when turn the wheels both ways. The car has 130k miles on it. And she got it at 90k miles. We don't really know what all was serviced so we don't have a good idea where to start. The car has had an issue where it feels like it's skipping outwards I'm turns while at or near full steering lock(in parking lots ECT). And that has progressively got worse. The Audi dealership put new tires on it and did there inspection and never said anything, they also aligned the car and it drives straight and very stable. But is there anything to help with the creaking as it's quite loud and embarrassing and the car skipping in the past for me has been rear control arm bushings(on my mini Cooper). I had those replaced and it stopped doing it. I was thinking maybe sway bar bushings need greased and that could be the culprit for the creaking. Is that something easily accessible? Does anyone know if these cars are equipped with zirk fittings on the bushing brackets? Or if there is a bushing kit that is OEM softness but has that. So in the future it will be easy for me to pump grease in. Thanks.
