If anyone can help me out I have a 07 a4 2.0t quattro and my engine light came on and I ran the code and it says cooling system. I am almost 100% sure its the thermostat and the dealer wants 1600. Don't really want to spend that so does anyone know where the thermostat is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ffind an independent. My 2008 A4 is in the shop for a new thermostat...parts and labor, $560. The thermostat is located near the bottom of the radiator, next to engine. It is only an $80 part, but it is tricky to access.
