Got under the 2007 A4 quattro I just bought and found the lower bolt supporting the turbo (#2 in the drawing) is missing. That may explain a grunting noise during acceleration. I don't want to remove the upper bolt to find the size. Can anyone tell me the size of the lower bolt? The ElsaWin manual doesn't say.

That seems to be a M12. The problem is the bracket is not aligned to the threaded base behind it. I use a M10 nut and bolt run through the bracket and the base and hand tighten with 2 wrenches.

Though it didn't change the grunting sound. May be that sound is by design? It's a bit like someone gargling water.
