Turning service lights off...
I have an issue with my turbo. My guy at the Audi dealership said as long as I don't drive fast in the "S" gear, it won't be an issue (I'm not ready to pay for it to be fixed).
I accidentally switched to the "S" gear for 5 seconds and a service light came on the day after. I can't say 100% that this light came on because of the turbo, but I also don't want to pay $200 for them to find out that's all it is.
If I turn the service light off myself, will the light come back on, on it's own since whatever existing problem still exists? If it's the turbo that caused it to come on, and I don't drive fast again, then it won't turn back on (i'm assuming). I can then conclude that is what the light is on for -- which is not a problem for me. But if there is another issue that needs to be addressed ASAP, will the light come back on eventually?
