Default Where *is* the Comfort Control Module on a B7?

Hi all - I have an issue that I believe is connected to the CCM. Specifically:

- Driver door will not lock/unlock with fob. Can do it with key and that is the only way I can arm the alarm
- Driver back door will not lock at all with the fob or from inside
- Passenger front door will lock but not unlock with the fob. Works fine from the inside
- Passenger back door has no issues
- No window issues
- Can not arm car with fob. Can disarm with the fob, however.

I've been scouring the interwebs for about a week to try to figure out what is wrong and I *think* it's the CCM from what I've found. That being said, I'm still unclear where the damn thing is on my car. I believe it's under the front seat carpet. Before I go disassembling the seat from the floor, I wanted to confirm if this is the case.

Also, if you feel I may have misdiagnosed my issue, my feelings won't be hurt by correcting me

Thanks in advance!

You are correct sir. I actually just dove in and ripped everything apart. I found the module, but, it looks to be in fine condition. I see no evidence of damage, specifically related to moisture. Hate to buy one and still have the same issue. Not sure where else to go on this one...

I strongly suggest checking the wires in the rubber link btw the driver's door and the door post. If all the wires are ok, I would check with VAG-COM to see if the CCM records the buttons being pushed down before changing the CCM.
Good luck

I took a look at those and they look pretty good. I had to take it in to get some other work done and they hooked it up to the VAG-COM. Turns out, all three actuators on the doors have died but the CCM seems to be reading fine. I just thought statistically the chance of that happening within a 30 day span was staggering.
