Default 2014 A4 is my hood missing something?
Hi All,
Just wondering if my hood is missing something. To me there are two spots for something. Attaching a few pictures.

Mine is the same, but what you are missing is the support (in yellow). Compare to the other side.

Thank you. I didn't even notice it. I had a car in shop two times already because or cracking noise when slowly driving over speed bums or uneven surface.
They told me they did some work on the hood, cracking sounds are still there but only I and my family can hear it nut dealer's techs.

Any idea how it called or where to buy it? Couldn't find it online.

Dan,

Caching up on my forums a bit. I snapped this photo a while ago and realized I never posted. I have a 2015, so according to uberwgn's photo and your parts link, Audi saved a nickel on a rubber/plastic cap on latter models. Sorry for the lousy iPhone pic.
