I hear you. Mind you, the 8 speed auto with larger paddle shifters (on the flat-bottomed wheel - see pic) can be fun to play with. But I agree, it's not a manual.

My summer car (below) is a manual.

Did you change steering wheels? You don't need more hp or a manual with that summer car! And thank god it's got the propper transmission! Of course I'd be ok with an automatic if it was a GT3. LOL
