Decided to tackle the brakes and wanted low dust. Based on some research I chose EBC Red Stuff ceramic and EBC Ultimax slotted rotors, made in the UK. Also cleaned and painted the calipers at the same time.

The job was time-intensive as I had not done it before. About 3 hours per wheel, going slowly. Murphy's Law applied frequently - the removal of the old rotors was the hardest part, all 4 were frozen. Breaker bar was needed for the caliper bracket bolts. And the outer front pads were glued on at the factory. Needed VAG-COM for the rears and battery backup.

I'm very happy with the results. No dust so far. I bedded them yesterday and will report back after the full break-in. Stops are smooth and less "grabby" than the OEMs. Calipers look better painted IMHO.
