Default Generic OBD II Scannners
Do generic OBD II scanners such as Autel work with the A4 and A6, or do you need a Vag-Com?

yes. if you just need a CEL code, all that stuff works.

True but any real diagnostic and mods require something more robust...ie ross tech vcds

Thanks. The Vag-Com is on my shopping list but right now I only need something basic.
