I could use some advice about purchasing a new A4

I agree that Audi Care is a good value if you're going to keep the car. Make sure to read the fine print in the brochure. If you don't drive a lot of miles, it may be possible that Audi Care expires before you receive the full benefit. This is from the T&C section at the bottom of the brochure:
"All Audi Care prepaid scheduled maintenance expires at 57,000 miles or five years from the original vehicle in-service date, whichever occurs first. Please see your Audi dealer for details."
By example, I drive about 6k miles annually. I'd never see the benefit of the savings on the 45,000 mile service before it expires.
The brochure is here: http://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/a...ned-resize.pdf
I haven't looked at the actual services performed at each maintenance interval. It may also be possible that Audi Care is better than break even and still makes sense even if you can't use the 45k service. That may be debatable.

I first want to thank everyone who responded to this thread. I learned a ton and took bits and pieces of everyone's advice. I also want to thank those who sent PMs with advice and answers to my questions. With all that said, I ended up going with a 1989 used Toyota Tercel......kidding!!!
Last weekend I purchased a CPO Audi A4 P+ with the tech package and Audi care, about 41,000 out the door. The car had less that 8,000 miles on it and I think I got a pretty good deal, especially since I am HORRIBLE and negotiations. I look forward to coming back to this form regularly to learn more and to contribute any knowledge I can from my experience with the car as well as my experience at the dealer.
Thanks again for all of your help, it is greatly appreciated!!! I am one of you now!!!!!
