My 2012 MK6 VW GTI was just totaled recently. That thing was my baby. I put quite a bit of money into modding it, and now it's gone. (as you can tell, i'm still not over it lol)
So anyways, now that im in the market for a new car, I figured now is my chance to get the A4 Avant that i've been wanting. I stumbled on one online (which happens to be located at my nearest audi dealer) for what I think is a good deal, but I just want to check with you guys first, to make sure it is in fact a good deal.
It's a 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Avant Premium (Tiptronic) Avant Quattro. It has 55,534 miles on it. Asking price is $24k. It is a CPO, so I would still have the warranty and all that good stuff. Is this a good deal? Is there anything I should be wary of? Common issues I should maybe bring up to the dealer before I buy? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My gut feeling is that the price is too high. Are you familiar with www.cargurus.com? Go on there - you will likely find the exact car - and see what they see as the market price for that vehicle. Wagons likely go a bit higher than sedans, but I think just over 20K is a more realistic price.

DD, welcome aboard! Price does seem high for a 2009, but I do realize the Avants are few and far between.
Are you able to expand your search area a bit? Look at the Audi USA website and cars.com...search on CPO cars.

Lol what's funny is that the particular one i'm talking about happens to be the cheapest CPO A4 Avant anywhere near me on both Audi USA and cars.com (I did a 150 mile radius search). I actually have an appointment tomorrow to check out the car and test drive it, too. But cars.com does say that it is about $1200 overpriced. Let the haggling commence. lol

I see 50 CPO cars (2011, 2012) across the country when using cars.com. A one-way plane ticket could land you in the driver's seat of the exact car you want while saving money...

This doesn't help because I'm across the ocean. But here in Western Australia the Avant is also a rarity, like the USA Aussies love SUV's over sedans. I ended up setting for a sedan as the price was a LOT better.
