Just ugot APR tune done
I finally got the Stage 1 APR tune done.
Stock, 93, 91, Valet.
I'm running it on 93 right now, since I have 93 in the tank.
Drove it home about 51 miles from the tuning shop and I took it fairly easy. I did notice it stuck in 3rd gear a little longer when I jumped on it.
What's a good way to test this out and really see what it's done to my car?

vtheman, warranty? What is that?
I bought my car new on July 31, 2009. July 1, 2011, my car hit 50,000 miles. I'm currently at 70K.
What is this warranty you speak of?

How do you know? I've read posts that suggest that the logging is automatic at certain levels of diagnostics. Though you're right that it's not necessarily an automatic void of the entire warranty, but a good chance of no warranty support on anything they could stretch into having any remote possibility of being related to the tune.

For your information, anytime your vehicle is hooked up to the computer the software automatically checks for the tune. A week or so later it populates into the system and your POWERTRAIN warranty is kaput, not the entire warranty.

Let me help you out.
2nd,The APR tune doesnt void your warranty,it has a stock mode that allows the car to go back to its stock setting. The chip is undetectable for models 2009 through 2012.
Thats my understanding.
