Default Need help!

2010 A4 2.0T Quattro, 104k miles. Car has been running great, no problems. Today, for some reason, it just stalled. It won't start, but is trying to turn over. Smells like something electrical is burning. No codes are coming up whatsoever. No dummy lights either. Very strange. Battery has weakened, but I think only because I tried numerous times to get it started. Can't figure this out. We have had an excessive humid heat wave, and I commute 2 hours a day. Trying to avoid the dealer at this point. Any known issues? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you rule out the battery? When was it last replaced? I would use a voltmeter and measure the battery terminal. It should read 12 volt. If not, get a new battery from Autozone. Make sure you get the AGM one.

Thank you for responding. To rule it out, I replaced the battery. Didn't help. Checked the plugs. They were replaced last year, but checked them anyway. They were fried and covered with oil. Not a good sign. Cleaned them up and checked for spark. There is spark, and fuel. At this point, there appears to be no compression. Not good. Have a call into the dealer. Waiting to hear back.
