Oil Level Senor HELP!
Hello,
I'm having a lot of issues with my audi a4 tdi (b8) I brought.
The car had an 'oil level sensor defective' on the display. I brought an genuine oil sensor, part number identical. I replaced the sensor and replaced the oil with new good oil (the right one for my car).
Now the oil sensor defective has gone but it's still displaying low oil level in yellow. It's been a couple of days with no change. The other problem is that it won't start in the mornings or basically when it's cold. It will start then instantly cut of with a red oil level warning.
Checked the dipstick and oil level is fine. Also cleaned the bonnet latch mechanism too.
It does eventually start. Takes about 30mins by reseting the oil interval and opening and shutting bonnet
I'd appreciate any help at all as I'm really clutching at straws now
Many thanks
