Default P0299 but no loss of power

Ok, engine started throwing this code. Repair shop said it had to be the turbo but my research shows that most others are experiencing a loss of power with this code. I have no power loss.

I did have the piston repair but that was 30K miles ago.

Anything else I should be looking at?

I had this and it was the dreaded wastegate play on the turbo. There is a temp fix but I elected for a new turbo.

what is the temporary fix? I had this code 100 miles ago and dealer replaces wastegate valve and after 100 miles it came back again

I beleive it is a modification to the arm. Search on the Audizine B8 forum. It has been discussed a lot over there.

An update on my situation.... I removdr diverter valve and it was new oiston type valve. Ine thungi noticed was that wheb i removed valve i saw spring was selerated from piston. I pushed it back in position but sligjt movement on valve popped the pustonand spring iut again. Is this normal behavior or DV or mibeis broken?
