I just purchased a 2017 A4 Prestige and love the car but the one thing I hate is this Stop/Start feature. You can disable it each time by pressing a button but I forget half the time. I am being told by the shop foreman at Audi that there is no way to disable this or set it to off by default. I can't believe that Audi didn't make this an option. It is very annoying and can't be good on the engine, battery, alternator, etc to constantly start and stop the engine each time you take your foot off the brake.

Our 2014 Q5 has this feature but when you disable it via the dash button it stays disabled. I will assume the EPA probably told Audi that their MPG numbers will be revised unless they change it. Government intervention always ****s up a good thing...
