Want to join the Audi family
Going to be looking into buying a used car soon. Live in Chicago and can't own another FWD. Have had my eye on 2010-2011 A4 or A6. What's there to know about these cars? How reliable are they? What should I expect?

Hard to believe that you posted the question in late August and no one has provided an answer. But I have a 2009 A4 2.0T Cabriolet which is the best car I have ever owned.
You need to get a Car Fax on the car you have in mind. If the maintenance service was performed by a dealer religiously throughout the car's life you can be pretty sure that at least no one neglected the car. Some of the models had and still have some oil consumption issues but you can look that up on the internet or elsewhere on this forum. Good luck, you will enjoy the car.
