What is the best / most economical way to fix a "keyed" paint scratch like this? Thanks for any help here..

This may or may not be an easy fix. Depending on how deep the scratches are will determine the fix. I would find a good body/paint shop and see what can be done. Sometimes a good paint specialist can compound/buff out some or most of the scratches and then hide what is left. If this can't be done then you may need to repaint the lower half of the doors . Get a good pro to look at it.

Hi,
From a cost perspective painting will likely be the most expensive. Find a local pro-detailer with a good reputation and ask for his/her advice. Any paint shop you visit will suggest painting, no surprise. A detailer can suggest corrective measures without painting or at least give you a sense of how far they can take it before painting is required. Good luck.
