B9 "new" interiors ??
What is this guys?
what have they done to the dashbord??
It seems copied from a any 70's model....
Poor design, unaesthetic, with a display on top with no integration on dashbord.
so bad, I feel some kind of frustration regarding this Audi option to the interior of new A4 model.

Troll or not, I do like the interior pretty much, but I am not a fan of the huge screen on top. I like the integrated screen ala my Q5 much better.

The reason many car manufacturers are going to the screen on top look is for better visibility. If you want the screen integrated, then the entire dash has to be much higher to allow for the extra space the screen takes up. The way the new design is, the entire dash can be much lower and only the screen sits on top, so you get much better visibility all around.
When the screens were 4-5" in size, it didn't matter so much. Now with the large 8-10" screens, the size of the dash would be way too high and would affect visibility too much.
