New Q7 vs A4 details
We just got our 2017 premium plus Q7 and just off the bat ive noticed a few things that my car does not do and am curious if any of yours do and if it is a software update that caused it or if its coding related:
1. car notifies you if you leave your phone in the car, and the option is in settings on the Q7 but not my A4.
2. The VC had the Traffic Sign pane in the VC but no driver assist (ive played with my A4 so much I dont remember if this was there by default but i dont think it was).
3. In the Audio Tab the music doesn't just show album art and track info but the timing slider in the VC on the Q7, mine does not show the timer, but would love it to.

I figured out that its not new software at least with the second two, the traffic sign display is on by default because of the new traffic light assist, which the Q7 falls into the build date with them. And the audio slide can be seen on earlier 2015 TTs. I just did a scan and will hopefully find the differences!

It's an option that may have to be enabled in the MMI settings, but if it is, it will notifiy you if it's still plugged into the USB port. Don't believe it works over wifi or bluetooth, though it could if it had access to the accelerometer and gyroscope I guess (via the MMI phone app).

My A4 Premium Plus also displays the Traffic Sign Pane, but doesn't have the camera. It should be noted that the MMI shows the current Speed Limit in the lower right corner (I assume that Google Earth provides that info). I wonder if there is a way for the MMI to send that info to the Virtual Cockpit Traffic Sign Pane.
