Really? We would be extremely grateful if you could find out how he popped it out! I've read the same procedure Kenneth mentioned even for my Indian VW Jetta. That's why the complication.
They don't just pop off. They have to be taken apart. I watched it and you have to be careful. Order them from ebay 180.00 matt alu- electroplated much nicer than having them wrapped or plasti-dip.

That's a really nice console tray. Did you purchase from that exact eBay link? The reason I ask is because the pictures in that auction do not show the nice S-line logo on the rubber mat.

As long as you pull from closest to center as you can get, youll be fine. And there is quite a bit of space to get fingers in there. It's not bad at all.

Yes...you can feel the difference, espcially when placing the car on R and/or D, when accelarating from a stop, the trans travel is minimal compared to stock, so it feels smother.
