And also. I found silver alu mirror caps (on the same website) for $84 including shipping. I still haven't ordered it though because I read Kenneth's diy thread and it looks like something I won't be able to do!!!
I'm confused with that DIY, when I had my mirror caps plasti dipped my guy just took the caps off without dissembling the whole housing, in his own words "they just pop off"

Really? We would be extremely grateful if you could find out how he popped it out! I've read the same procedure Kenneth mentioned even for my Indian VW Jetta. That's why the complication.

They don't just pop off. They have to be taken apart. I watched it and you have to be careful. Order them from ebay 180.00 matt alu- electroplated much nicer than having them wrapped or plasti-dip.

I can get it for $85. But I'm too chicken to try a diy myself. Scared I might break the glass taking it off.

If you like the look at that price I would definitely get them and have someone install them.

I would too but I don't trust anyone around where I live to do the job!!! The nearest Audi dealer is like an hour and a half away.

Yes, I copied that eBay link from my purchase.

As long as you pull from closest to center as you can get, youll be fine. And there is quite a bit of space to get fingers in there. It's not bad at all.

Oh. Maybe I'll try getting my fingers in there today. Let's see. If it is fine, I'll order the mirror caps.

Default 034 Motorsports Trans Mount

Yes...you can feel the difference, espcially when placing the car on R and/or D, when accelarating from a stop, the trans travel is minimal compared to stock, so it feels smother.
