2015 A6 18" vs 19" wheels with sport suspension
I may have an opportunity to buy a very low mileage CPO at a real good price that has 19" all season tires with sport suspension.
I was not in the market for 19" or sport suspension, and consider the stock 18" just fine.
But this deal may be too good to pass up, although I am concerned about comfort. I drive mainly in the NJ/NY areas where the roads are terrible.
How much will the difference be in comfort (as well as handling) between the 2 cars?
And just what specifically is a sport suspension and how does it differ from a non-sport suspension?
Thanks. Frank.

Avoid the sports suspension! I just posted how much I have regretted purchasing a 2016 A6 with the sports suspension in post hole ladden DC streets. Trust me - you will be very sorry!

You will love the sport suspension. It is a great balance between handling and ride quality. I went with the 19 inch set up and don't regret it at all.

I concur that the 20's on sport suspension in Germany would be fine but the US is having a hard time surpassing the quality of Roman roads built BC.

In Westchester County NY we had craters in the roads late winter. They were not filled until May-June. If you have to drive to JFK airport you would be better off in a Humvee even now.

I drove several several variations (18 - 20) with and without sport package. In the ed I went with the 19 inch sport. For me it was the "just right" option. That said we all experience these differently. Tell the dealer you want to try three separate set ups back to back. Good luck and agree, do not fear the sport set up!
