+1. Keep the 18 inch wheels & use them for a dedicated set of snow tires. It will be much less of a hassle come next winter & it will keep your 19 inch wheels in better shape too.

Guys, can you tell me what tire rubbing look or sound like?
We went on a small trip and my wife claimed that something is unusual about the car, she hear noises from the tires. My mainly drive the A6 alone or with kids.
I must admit that I do hear some noises too, but mostly from when I accelerate (such as from a red light, stop sign, etc.)
Nut I am not sure if the noise is just the engine doing its things, or what the exhaust, etc.
So, what does tire rubbing sounds like and how do I check? Do I need to bring the car int o the shop to have it looked at?
Is there really a possibility of tire rubbing with my 19x9.5 wheels? What else can it be?

19" black wheels
Hi all, I am like to get some 19" wheels for my 2016 A6 3.0T Premium Plus and would really love some suggestions.
What brands should I look at for quality without putting a hole in my wallet? VMR, Hartmann, Avant Garde, BBS, TSW, etc.?
What style, finish, material should I look for?
What size should I look for? 19x8 or 19x8.5, etc.
I really prefer a 19" set that is a perfect fit for my 2016 A6.
As for tires, I am all set on either the DWS06 Or Michelin AS3.
I will use my stock 18" wheels with winter tires for the snowy season.

Vossen CV5
Well lots of great ideas. But with 4.2 Dreamer's input I went with Vossen CV5 matte black with polished face. I still need to proper center cap from Vossen (I like the silver one) I also ordered some Audi caps that will fit I hope. I went with the 9" wide and running the DWS06 tires in 265x35x20". Not best pics but gives the car more sport look. Oh one bummer is that apparently Vossen is discontinuing the CV5 series. So if you want some you will have to ck around to find them. This was last set at site I ordered them from.
