2016 Prestige price
I posted in different area and someone suggested I post here.
Hi. We're thinking about trading our 2012 Prestige(45,000M) for a 2016. If you recently purchased one what is a good discount off of the MSRP in terms of percentage. For example we just bought a Q3 and got around 9% off. Would like to know where to end up when we start shopping. The build is around $67,500. Thanks for your help

Either of these sites will give you a good idea of what people are paying given your particular geographic location. Be sure to configure the car exactly the way you built it on the Audi web site. Your MSRP will be equal to the Audi website MSRP if you do it correctly then you can see what people in your area are paying and that will give you an idea of what you should expect to pay.

When I bought the Q3. Started out with $2100 off and after some research it magically jumped up to $3500 + $500(loyalty). The $3500 + $500 was offered in Pa. Could not complete the deal there so we bought it in Florida when we got here. The discounts were equal regardless of the area...just had to know what to present to the dealer. The online "What people are paying" websites were way off.
They should state..."What people in your area are paying if they do not shop or speak up" And when the dealer tells you the price is $200 above invoice that is bull soup. What invoice?
From experience there is no substitute for comparative shopping.

I got a pretty good deal on my 2016 A6 3.0T P+ back in June.
MSRP was $65,370 and i got:
$1,600 S-line + LED Headlights package credit
$2,000 AFS Loyalty
$4,500 Local dealer loyalty (4th car purchased from them in 2 years)
Basically got the car for $57,270, which is base price of 3.0T P+ (just got all the options for free with the discounts). Approx 12% discount. Bought on the last day of the month (always do, better deals to make numbers I guess)
EDIT TO ADD: unfortunately the Prestige models don't give the $1,600 package credit which is a bummer IMO

Thanks, I love the car and the color. Coming from a Brilliant Black Q5 3.0T I can certainly say this car appears cleaner much much much longer and doesn't show water spots nearly as bad. I think the Glacier is a much better alternative to the Ibis which appears to be a creamy white and I like the cleaner look the Glacier gives.

About two years ago I bought my Prestige (2014) at the end of the year (paid for December 31). Had just dropped by the dealer and they offered me a great price - $2750 below invoice + taxes and fees - in fact I did not have to negotiate to get this price but they wouldn't budge from it.
I was told they were trying to meet a quota for the end of the year. There were no Audi discounts available at the time. It had about 45 miles on the odometer.
I checked all the online sites etc. for prices folks were paying and also paid for a Consumer Reports estimate - none of them could predict the price I paid (they were off by thousands). So I think it depends on how desperate the dealer is to move the car and a bit of luck I guess. I have bought my last two cars on Dec 31 (12 years apart) and got a good deal on both so end of the year/month seems to be good time to buy, especially they have a lot of cars on the lot.
