Third way - measure the face lift grill and see if it matches yours. Take a look inside and see if the mounting points are the same.

Fourth way - take a 2016 for a demo ride....

I vote for #4 as well. Mine choices are so boring. Reminds me of the time I didn't get my CD changer with a Ford explorer I purchased. Dealer refused to give me one. So me and my buddy went to kick some tires and while I yelled at the sales man, my buddy happened to find one on the ground. Imagine that.
