Hello
I have anti-dazzle interior mirror, I have switched to anti-dazzle glass in the exterior mirror and pulled the cable to the control unit in the door, what more do I need to do to get the automatic dimming of outdoor mirrors?

I have previously done this retrofit on a MY11 TT. If you have run the dimming signal wires from the mirror down to both doors and into each control module, then you must replace the small harness that goes from the control module up to the mirror glass itself. No coding should be needed as the control modules usually just act as a passthrough for the dimming signal.

Thank you for answer, do you mean that I have to run a wire from control module in door to the inside rear view mirror?

Yes. Your interior rearview mirror is what controls the auto dimming signal to the exterior auto dimming mirrors. You would have to add two wires into the existing 8 pin interior rearview mirror connector, then down each A-Pillar, into each door, through the control module and up into the exterior mirrors. Path as follows:

8 Pin Interior Mirror connector > 27 Pin Door connector > 20 Pin Door Control Module Connector > 16 Pin Control Module Connector > 2 Pin Exterior Mirror Connector.
