I called my sales guy, and he said it's allocated and once it gets a date everything will go quickly. He is a young guy, and probably new and doesn't know the system. I explained to him what I learned on this forum. I then gave him until Tuesday to figure it out or I'm going to another dealer.
I'll keep all of you updated on the progress.

If you get a next available date when allocated your probably looking at an August build right now. You would be much better off if they could get their Audi rep to put your specs on a car already in factory list. Then you may get a July build.

My sales guy called back and told me he talked to the AoA rep. The rep agreed something is strange that it was still the IS order bank. So the rep is going to investigate what can be done. I sure hope hope they can modify an existing order!

My sales guy called…he told me he didn’t get any update from the AoA rep. But he was able to trade an allocated A6, and modify it to match my specs. Theoretically, it will be built sometime during the week of May 25th; although he didn’t have the exact build date yet. He said he would send me an email once he got the date.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed because it seems too good to be true!

I would ask him for a copy of the report from the Audi system that shows all your specs and the build info. two fold - make sure he changed all the specs to the correct specs (there are users here who found the dealer miskeyed options) and see what the estimated build date. It should be in format like 1525 (which would mean 25th week of 2015).
Every time I made a change my dealer sent me a copy of this report to confirm he had all the options correct.

Yeah, it was too good to be true!
My sales guy didn't know how to read the production date of 2515 (week of June 22nd; not May 25th like he said).
Well, at least I have a production week now (and the order is correct).
