I'm actually pretty tempted to do this.
Are you saying that the cost of the seat cover for the base of the seat is $1670. That seems to be very high indeed

That is for the base and the back. Both seating surfaces are wearing the same way.

That will be hard to do with a big wallet mark.
I agree...just like they don't think we should have any beverage other than a small espresso cup in our cup holders. I have to take the Mercedes to go and get fast food take out as the 2 big Iced Teas do not fit in the holder and pose an electrical hazard to the electronics. To my point, some basic user considerations seem lacking... (as a 1st time Audi owner).

Not sure what cup holder design has to do with the seat cover wear.

Maybe we should put our wallet in the cup holders?

That's where mine always goes, too. I never drive any vehicle with it in my back pocket.

I use the cup holders for my cell phone and keys. Wallet goes in the bin in front of the shifter. I like to drive unfettered.

So, I paid my $50 for the miracle leather cleaner kit from Audi. Opened it up, though let's give this a go. Went at it gently as instructed, didn't seem to do much, as expected. Then I figured I'd try a different approach. I kind of squished the sponge on the worst spots and something began to happen...

An hour or so later I looked at the seat and although not perfect it looked a lot more like a 20,000 mile seat should in my opinion...

I am actually pretty amazed by the results.

Go back to the first post to see what they used to look like.
