Patience. If your car is affected, you will surely get a letter (assuming you are the original owner or Audi has some record of you owning the car).

That could very well be the case although with the smell of Dieselgate still in the air, it did raise an eyebrow.

Thanks for posting the letter. When I put my VIN into the audi recall site, it shows it as a service campaign, but the letter posted actually shows it as a recall. I am the original purchaser of my audi a6, 2013, 3.0TSFI. Ironically I was at the dealer 2 days ago and they didn't pick up on it??
In the past with other cars, I never would receive these letters. It is my understanding that manufacturers find the owners through the car registrations but I don't think the system works well. Recently I had Lexus put a new engine put in my 2007 Lexus IS 250 due to carbon build up issues. I had no idea there was a program out there for several years and only realized that there was a customer service program from the forums.

HA! Got the letter last week but never opened it. Thanks to this thread I decided to take a look and sure enough... it's the recall. I'm 2nd owner of my car.
