Fog Lamps

I bought my Hex-CAN USB VAG-COM cable about 10 years ago for about $350. Since then I have been using it about once a month on one of my cars or a friends car. The VCDS software is constantly being updated to support the newest cars and codings. The cable works on any VW or Audi (and all the other VW brands) and we have even used it on a Lamborghini a few times. Just recently my VCDS cable allowed me to tell my (non-Audi) mechanic which sensor to replace after the MIL came on, something his professional ODBII tool did not do to that detail.
So, while I thought 10 years ago that $350 was a little high for just making a few coding changes, it turned out to be about $3 a month so far and I'm pretty sure no dealer would work for that amount.

Lol, arguments around here are really appreciated. Much mug better than the Subaru community.
So the short of the story is to purchase fog lights as a factory option. <gulp>
