MY2012, Parking sensors just died?

All right, I have good news!
I ordered a sensor on ebay, it arrived today. I managed to replace my broken sensor without even dismantling "the whole front of the car" like the service guys at Audi told me they would have to do.
I just removed the little grill(?) on the left side of my car and managed to get my hand in enough to replace it.
So I finally ended up paying less than €45 to fix this, when both Audi service guys I spoke to wanted at least €600. I'm happy.

Can you tell me which service manual you downloaded?

I looked at pictures of A6C7 bumpers on ebay in order to get a look at the inside of the bumper so I would know how everything was connected and installed.

Hi, I could use a little more help here as well. Especially around the part about "I looked at pictures of A6C7 bumpers on ebay in order to get a look at the inside of the bumper so I would know how everything was connected and installed."
I can track down the part, but body panel work is always scary since one broken snap can lead to $100s.
I know I could find it eventually, but I'll through in the sob story that I'm trying to get ready to move my home and family and want to get this fixed pronto. More detail if you are willing and able:
2015 A6 Quattro 3.0T, right inboard parking sensor shows object close all the time, been too rainy and cold to do much more than check connector is still on and nothing looks odd. My garage is full of boxes and most tools already packed away (more sob story).
