Wow, I have a QG also, but I've never seen one look like that - the lighting in your pic really shows the metallic flake..awesome. I need to try and get a pic that good, once it gets sunny here again...so July-ish lol
The lighting makes a huge difference, even here in sunny Florida. The day before when I test drove it, it was a bit cloudy out and the car looked darker. In the 4pm clear sky sun when I took this pic it showed a bit brighter. I usually go for the darker graphite grays but this one really caught my eye.

Here's my new 2015 A6 Prestige Black Optic I took delivery 2 days ago. It was hard saying good bye to my 2002 A4 Avant but it was time. I am very much glad I went with the A6.

Just had my car sprayed in Halo EFX covert black plastidip. Completely removable, figured its a fun way to change the look without being permanent. I love the way it came out... It lays out so smooth its like vinyl. Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

SP149-
I am an old fart who usually disapproves of messing with nice cars, but this looks amazing. I would keep it as long as I could. The matte type look and ghostly evenness of the finish really highlight the beautiful design of this vehicle. My congratulations on a great concept and ***** to do it!

So, because I'm lazy right now and in a hurry because my son is at the door, does black optics also come with the sport suspension? I love the look.

Not sure if this is the right place to introduce myself, just joined the forum. I know the site is predominantly US based, but the Audi forum in the UK isn't very active in the A6 section, so thought I'd give here a try. There's also a lot more modifications done in the US and I've had a look at quite a few of your cars.

Anyway, below are pictures of mine. It's a UK black edition, which I think is similar to your prestige black optic. It's an oil burner I'm afraid, but in its defence it is the biturbo that sounds like a V8 and has 650 nm, sorry 480 lb ft, of torque.

Right section. Beautiful car. I am still trying to find time to drop mine off at the shop to convert my trim to black optics. I have the RS grill as well to swap out. I hate winter. Enjoy it over here, although US cars are the majority, I have spoken to many European owners in my time, you are more than welcome over here.
