I have a tiny creaking in the drivers door panel and just recently a buzzing in the passenger door panel on cold mornings. It's a minor annoyance as those are the only noises in the cabin after 101K miles.

I figure I'll track them down and deal with them when the radio or an open window can't drown them out.

[QUOTE=AZ-A6;24680559]At only 1K miles I've been impressed with how quiet and solid the car has performed so far. QUOTE]

I think that the heat in So AZ is so intense that is caused most of the plastic to hermetically seal to all of its contact points so that there cannot be any friction. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong

We had over 80" of snow on the ground for weeks and weeks this past winter in my neck of the woods and not one squeak, rattle, buzz or other unpleasant noise to be heard making that theory invalid.

I disagree, you are at the other end of the spectrum where all of the plastic pieces are frozen to all of the contact points so that there can be no friction.

In conclusion, too hot and too cold results in a quiet car.

I bought a 2014 A6 P+ 20" Sport package CPO 8 months ago. It was also a dealer loaner. Had 6,600 miles when I picked it up and now has 12,000. Not a pop, rattle or squeak anywhere. I'm extremely happy with my CPO purchase.

So how do you explain that I have no noises in the Spring and Fall here in New England when the temps are moderate? Can't have it all three ways, ergo, one should conclude there is no direct correlation of climate with noisy parts.

Mine def gets worse in warm weather. I'm in San Diego this week and it's in the high 70's/low 80's - every time I leave the car outside for longer than 5 minutes and come back, everything inside squeaks and pops! I'm taking it to the dealer as soon as I get back. It really seems that they would have to replace the whole interior to get it fixed tho. This really sucks!!

Perhaps, but you obviously have some issues to a degree (no pun intended) that most owners do not experience. Also, 70s and 80s is not hot like in the Southwest.
Good luck getting the gremlins banished.
