A question about window tinting and Audis

I had mine tinted 2 weeks ago with Sun-Gard films. Just before the mobile tech left, I pointed out to him all the bubbles and moisture that were trapped and quite evident esp on the lighter tinted front windows. He told me to be patient for the next 3 to 4 weeks, as that's how long it'll take esp in cold and wet climates like here in Vancouver, BC. I've noticed marginal improvement in the last 2 weeks, but one of the front window is still pretty bubbled. Can anyone please comment with your experience in this regard? Does it really take up to a month for the freshly installed films to fully 'cure'?

So I'm taking my lovely to Pro-Tint in Savannah tomorrow. When I was on the phone with the guy, he mentioned that since new model Audis lack a felt liner in the window seal, it is very possible that a single grain of sand or grit could scratch a tint job. Is there truth in this?

Anything can scratch the film. It is. It is not as durable as your windows. Having tinted all of my cars (all windows) including two audis I have not had any issue with scratched film during installation. The work of the tinter is as important as the type of film itself.
