Default TDI's Have now officially become limited editions

According to Reuter's, VW made it sort of official that they will no longer offer diesels in the US. So by default our TDI's have become limited editions and could actually go up in value once the settlements are complete.

That's a positive way of looking at it! I'm still hoping for a limited edition buyback.

Our regular "court mandated update" regarding the 3.0L TDI's should be Wednesday of this week, btw.

Which way would the value go if you can't drive the car on public roads?

I heard that we will not have compensation, only a "fix"

My theory assumes there would be a viable fix which performance is not altered in a negative way.

Fix will very likely impact fuel economy and performance making the TDI undesirable.

3.0L Gen 2.0 TDI fixes have been leaked regarding new catalytic converter and more aggressive adblue doping strategy.

Are you just pontificating or do you actually know something?
