2001 A6 4.2 quattro not cranking(long)
I have a 4.2 quattro that was working fine until this last winter it sat under my porch for 2 weeks and I live in Florida so not bad weather . When I came back it started right up as I drove to the store and back then parked it again for 3 days (I was out of town) when I came back I drove it to a restaurant then downtown. I parked the car and I came back 2 hours later to leave but it didn't want to crank, which was the first time it's happened. All of the lights showed up as it normally does but after not being able to turn it on I got it towed to my house. The next morning I went to turn it on and it fired up as if nothing was wrong but I didn't drive it, so the day after that in the morning it turned on again perfectly to go to school BUT after school I went in to turn it on to leave but it did not crank at all (all the lights on the dash were on as if it was working) so I had it towed to my house again. I stopped driving it and started to look for information, the car would turn on but after I turned it off it wouldn't crank right after. Whenever it would turn on it turned on without a problem but After a few weeks it has not turned on since. Can someone help me

Dead or dying battery will allow the indicator lights to turn on, but will not have enough power stored to crank the engine. Take the battery out to an auto parts store and have it load tested.
