2011 A6 - Repair to Brake Caplier

wrong forum, but in general, 'it depends.' Where are you?
If the pads are worn, you would need to replace pads on left and right rears.
On a car as young as yours and damaged vice leaking rear calipers, I'd venture to say you could get away with replacing just the one damaged caliper and if the pads aren't worn to less than 5mm, I'd just slap the old pads in the new caliper.
One other thing for DIY'ers…if you have electric parking brake as so many newer Audis do (and the A6Q 2011 does), you'll need to have the VCDS or vag-com or some other way of electrically retracting the parking brake if not resetting it for the new caliper. I don't know if a new caliper comes with a new stepping motor for the parking brake either…but Ellis Audi shows only the caliper with actuator motor and it's about $550 new. You should be able to get one used for less and even without the stepper motor since the parts fiche shows the caliper assembly without the actuator motor.
